Author & Poet

I was born in Alberta and my parents homesteaded in the peace river Country until I was 5, when we moved to Edmonton so i could go to school.  My father worked on the Alcan Highway in the early 40's and the construction company wanted him to come to the States with them, so we packed up and moved to the U.S.A, I have been here since 1945 except for brief rtirps back to Canada to see friends and relatives.  I am widowed and have two older children who are married and a dependent younger son who lives with me.and I am his caregiver.

I started writing poetry at about ten years old and have been doing so off and on ever since. I am published in about 70 magazines and journals, have two chapbooks published and a novella, named Heritage of Hawk Hill.I am presently working on another chapbook type mss.  I love nature and we live in the country where we really can enjoy it in all its aspects.
