i am a poet who writes whatever enters her mind, it could be love, life, fantasy, dark, inspirational, or insights. they are words from deep within my heart and soul.  spend some time reading what i have to say.

i was born in nebraska in 1946 and raised in a military family, so i did some extensive traveling during my childhood. been through some historic times of our country and watched life unfold before me.

i have two grown son and 5 grandchildren, i am also now the last survivor of my immediate family, surprisingly enough, all three of my brothers were younger than me.

i started writing late in my life while i cared for my mother, who had alzheimers.  the poetry was a beginners attempt, but was perfect therapy for me, and when she died, it stayed with me and grew, now it is doing its own thing and showing me how fast it can grow.  i do find this mesmerizing to see that they are my words and hopefully some are good. .
